[Gnumed-devel] Backend complexity

Hi all

I'm trying to setup a backend, but as quite a few of the
sql scripts in cvs are broken or have unresolved dependancies,
could someone give me an idea of what I need to create to
get a client to run.

I would be interested in hearing about the database design 
history and the purpose of the distributed database architecture
that you have implemented, (smart, but possibly a little 
over-kill I would have thought at first glance).

Sorry to be a pain, but I'm not privy to the history of this
project, there isn't much in the mailing list archive that
shed's light on this stuff, so I'm assuming it goes back
further than the archive does.
