Is the reset button even necessary ?

Not if it's the Expected Date of Covenance but what about
Expected Date of Conception ?

Ah, now I get it. Liz was asking about the 40 (as in
weeks-per-pregnancy) as opposed to 52 (as in weeks-per-year).
While I was thinking of the 18 thingy which is subject to
national regulating bodies' whims. In reality 18/40 and 18/52
are likely shorthands for *writing*. Why not just say "week 18
scan" explicitly ? This also translates much better ...
