Sorry, idiomatic English...Karsten is correct, I meant that everything
about Qt/PyQt seems (at least to a casual observer who has only spent a
few hours looking at it) superior to wxWindindows/wxPython, including
the support for PDAs via Qtopia (the embedded version of Qt). Evrything
except the licensing arrangements, which as i pointed out, complicate
things considerably for a pure GPL project.

However, even if there were no licensing issues with Qt, and even if Qt
really is so much better than wxWindows/wxPython, that does not
automatically mean that GNUmed should swap to using Qt. Lots of other
issues need to be considered, including how much effort has been
invested in wxPython code and how close that code is to forming a usable
interface, how much effort is needed learn Qt and so on. It also depends
on the decision making processes used by the GNUmed project - I am new
here so I don't know. I was just picking up on what was discussed at the
Sydney GNUmed conference about Qt.
