Dear Scott,
getting GnuMed to work on your machine basically requires two
steps:
- making sure all requirements for *running* GnuMed are met
- actually getting the GnuMed source from CVS
Let's start with getting the GnuMed source. What you'd need to
do is use cvs commands to check out the source from it's
repository at gnu.org. For that you can use the script that's
attached.
If that works out go to gnumed/gnumed/client/wxpython/ and
run gnumed.sh. Post errors that crop up here. They will show
your missing dependancies. The list will fill you in on that.
Connect to the public database:
DB: gnumed
host: anubis.homeunix.com
port: 5432
user: any-doc
Report where you get stuck.
