Assuming that deriving gmOrg* from cClinItem is semantically correct it still doesn't make sense to use it for classes like cOrgCategory or even worse cLinkPersonOrgCategory and its ilk. Those classes are supposed to be classes that make business sense to the consumer of the business API. What we have now is a object-relational mapper. Not what was intended. It is straightforward for a user of the API what cPractice is likely to encompass. Not so for why there is a cCommTypes class.
some cleanup will be done , as none of the usable classes came from deriving from cClinItem, in the org case ( some contigency on cClinItemdoesn't apply in org).
