[Gnumed-devel] update database - no problem

This weekend I have finally gotten around to update our production server 
using GNUmed as a document archive for the proprietory software Turbomed. All 
I had to do was run the provided update script. This took care of a backup 
and started the update process. The backup which included compressing it with 
bzip took about 5 hours for a 5 Gigabyte database containing roughly 1500 
patients and up to 20 documents per patient.

The client has been installed on the Windows hosts and runs without problems.
