I think that Dominique's crafting of the double-clickable Mac binary  
involved AppleScript, so part of that trick may involve being aware  
how AppleScript would call python and how to get it to access the  
correct version if more than one is installed. I will bc him this in  
case his email address still works and in case this piques any  
sporadic interest :-)
