It definitely has to do with python not finding mx.DateTime.
The course of action would be to fiddle with your
system-wide python and mxDateTime until

        $ python
        >>> import mx.DateTime

suceeds.

*Then* try running ./gm-from-cvs.sh again and report back on
errors.

Note: I'll be off to the woods until Oct. 7th so please bear
with me. Sebastian *may* be able to give some help but he is
currently under severe time pressure (until Oct 3rd or so).
