This wx problem has returned (still) on 0.2.8.0 so maybe 0.2.8.0 did not solve it.
Curiously, this problem only occurs at salaam. It briefly went away, but has returned. But it does not affect me when I select a local machine profile.
I am wondering if the problem got briefly solved when Karsten bootstrapped a new version of the server database, and maybe after I (or other people) connected to the new database, something like "the last window size used by Leonard McCoy" s getting stored there, and getting fetched when a different physical person logging in from a different machine is logging in as McCoy?
Attached are a screenshot, and a log. In this example I had been logged in using a different machine account ("Service") but it was also a problem from my main account:
