It provides Preview which is pretty good for viewing a variety of  
file types (PDF, PNG, TIFF etc) but offers very little in the way of  
mark-up -- really just simple text boxes. I have since found Graphic  
Converter (shareware with free demo/trial period) that seems suited  
to things that do not need GIMP/Photoshop. Sebastian may like to know  
that www.versiontracker.com is a good place to find such things.
