I have been thinking on the problem proposed on the inability of the software to edit (as in correct typos and other small elements) in the DB.
I have a idea, so please think FIRST on FEASABILITY, THEN on the formatting of it.
My idea is this:
Why not put parenthesis "( ) "of some diferent color (maybe red) and the date / login of the modification?
Say "Mr. Pearson has hedac and is trying to see if it is not his wefe that does it to him" was saved.
FOR NOW there is NO WAY in the client setting that can make this right. Although it is a rediculous example, and it is OBVIOUS a typo, maybe when we speak of signals say "BP is 102/90" when it should be "120/90" could start posing some dififulty.
My sugestion is this "Mr. Pearson has hedac (headache - RogLuz 2008-11-24 : 20:00:02) and is trying to see if it is not his wefe (his wife plumming him in the head with a macaroni roller - RogLuz 2008-11-24 20:00:32) that does it to him "
It IS UGLY, but makes a lot of sense for now, I see how it could be very dificult to accomplish, I can´t even imagine the database structure behind it, and it may have to be limited to say 50 caracters, but the most of our "typos"and "forgetos"would be resolved.
