Ok here it is, just did it, ... I click in Last Name, fill the apropriate detail and ENTER, goes to First Name, fill it ENTER, goes to nick name, and so forth, when I do an ENTER AFTER "Number" it automatically saves the patient, not letting me type other details (Place, Region country, etc ...) wich I will have to fill in at the Patient Details widget afterwards.

It works on a blank patient also, just go to Number and do an ENTER , it will complain that the fields ABOVE it are not filled, but not those BELOW

Can you describe this in more detail ?  AFAIK there is two
uses of <ENTER> in that dialog:

1) select items from dropdown lists of phrasewheels
2) activate the default button (happening to be <Save>)

I don't see <ENTER> going from field to field.

Are you saying that sometimes you happen to accidentally
press <ENTER> prematurely outside a phrasewheel list and
thus the new patient is saved before you checked all the fields ?
