GSoC has announced the organizations that were accepted. GNUmed did not apply 
so we did not make it on this list.

However if you feel you need to do something about GNUmed and even get some 
cash for it you could try to submit a proposal under the umbrella of the 
following organizations. It might be wise to ask them first :-)

Turbogears, Django, MacPorts, Debian, PostgreSQL, openMRS. While many project 
will most likely only accept proposals which benefit the project directly you 
might be creative in how to phrase your proposal.

Topics cover webinterface, Mac packages, interfacing to openMRS, writing a 
status tray launch/control applet on Windows.

Did not see Debian-med on the list but Debian is.

Just in case you have some spare time during summer break here is your chance.
