Done.

This is the perfect example of how a seemingly innoccuous
desire may yield unanticipated complexity (and thus does not
lend itself to appear in a minor release like, say, 0.9.8):

- the grid needed to be told do allow expansion
  of the relevant row
- the field needed to be told to allow multi-line input
- that required the field to be turned from a phrasewheel
  into a normal text control
- then the list display needed to be tweaked to only list
  the first line of whatever the comment contains
- that left the remainder of the comment only to be seen
  in the waiting list entry edit area which is no good
- hence the list needed to be expanded to display a
  dynamic, item-related tooltip detailing the entry
  including the possibly multi-line comment

Now, all this is manageable, no doubt. It does give,
however, an idea of what some suggestions might entail.
