Karsten, presumably that's aimed at me.
Was not being anything of the sort. You miss out on much constructive comment
because of your sensitivity and it makes one less inclined to post
observations and suggestions.
The experience here in Australia is that transfer of medical records is a huge
problem due to lack of standardization.
At the end of the day one tends to be more interested in specialist reports
and pathology and other results, rather then the GP's written notes which are
by-and-large pretty bad here.
There are dozens of different formats of medical record databases and I've
noticed that when transfering records the surgeries often ask if we want it in
pdf or medical director/best practice format.
I personally find the pdf format more useful hence my comments.
