Per Oliver's suggestion, I have just pushed to git head a new log message.

Now if you see this, you do not have timepps.h:

    "KPPS:%s no HAVE_SYS_TIMEPPS_H, PPS accuracy will suffer\n",

Also, check in your waf configure that it detected timepps.h.

You should see this:

Checking for C header file sys/timepps.h... yes
