Did you ever find any problems by running it twice?  If so then
worth restoring.

It was only 2 lines of (broken) code.  If you have a real use case
then I can restore it.

Sure, "scons 'target'".  Like this:

# scons tests/test_clienthelpers.py

But that would be a lot of lines to maintain.

Or, run "scons check" 3 times and ignore the first?
