I think my suggestion has the advantage that you still can say .nr PS 10 which probably most -ms users are accustomed to. Has anyone ever seriously used a point size < 3pt or > 300pt? The stress is on `seriously'. I think this value is quite a useful threshold for interpreting values as fractional point sizes. Werner
