Ouch.

Ok, since it is also difficult to configure the proxy address in the 
kioslave (needs recompile) I suggest that we change our approach to 
backlinks: Make it a startup-time option to the gateway. Then both 
Netscape and KDE can be trivially made to understand this.

Sounds reasonable?
