This is the principle of a supplier info records, which 'overwrites' general 
settings (e.g. general order lead times for a material, material name and 
code) with vendor-specific settings. This helps in automizing processes, but 
needs maintenance of this additional information element.

I have asked for for this some time ago in the tryton mailing list.
