Summary: Create the health record archive for each
institution
                 Project: GNU Health
            Submitted by: meanmicio
Submitted on: Wed 19 Mar 2014 02:21:56 PM GMT
Should Start On: Wed 19 Mar 2014 12:00:00 AM GMT
Should be Finished on: Sun 06 Jul 2014 12:00:00 AM GMT
                Category: Functionality
                Priority: 5 - Normal
                  Status: In Progress
                 Privacy: Public
        Percent Complete: 20%
             Assigned to: meanmicio
             Open/Closed: Open
         Discussion Lock: Any
                 Release: None
                  Module: health_folder

    _______________________________________________________

Details:

The module will have the functionality to locate the patient physical -paper-
medical record on each institution, as well as the status, such as :

- Main location where that health folder should reside
- Current location of the patient health folder
- Last requested by
- Status : Archived, Borrowed, lost

Many health centers due to historical and legal reasons, need to have the
health records in paper for a period of time. The health_folder module will be
able to also keep a scanned copy in GNU Health.

The module name "health_folder" is an attempt to differentiate the physical /
paper document from the existing electronic medical record and patient history
functionality already existing in GNU Health. If anyone comes with a better
name today I'll be very happy to change it :)

PS: Many thanks to the team for the GNU Health mission in Mozambique, who
helped a lot in the conception of this module, during the last workshop in
Toledo, Spain

Best,
