I have developed this idea a little further and added a dose calculation INDEX 
option. The prescriber would select the appropriate calculation index from a 
drop down box: 

mg/kg/dose
mg/kg/day
mg/sqmetre (of body surface area)

I 
understand this is quite complicated functionality but I am sure Luis will rise 
to the challenge !!!
