Hi GNU Health friends
Best Regards

My names is Bernardo Garcia, currently I in tandem with other people we are working in a project in Colombia in the which the goal is implement and deploy an Hospital Information System for institutions in some towns of Antioquia state/department.

We have been reviewing  some frameworks and e-Health platforms the which can be useful as starting point in our project. GNU Health is a great option for us, the framework named tryton support many of the functionalities that we are looking.

However, the core of our project include an important section that is the work with medical images. So, the imagenology topic is a very important factor for our project, this, because we want deal the teleradiology topic.

In the GNU Health Documentation [ http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/GNU_Health ], don't exist references to work with medical images, for their storage, or the possibility of setup connection from GNU Health toward systems as a PACS, or view medical DICOM images through of Dicom viewers.

In the following interview made to Luis Falcon which is the creator and fundator of GNU Health [ http://opensource.com/health/13/3/interview-luis-falcon-gnu-health ] when he is asked about whether GNU Health can work in tandem with existing health systems or even replace them .... this in the three question, he says:

" GNU Health can also interoperate with other free software healthcare projects. For example, GNU Health can store patient medical images (MRIs, Xrays, CT, etc.) locally or connect directly to a PACS server using DICOM viewers like Ginkgo or Aeskulap. Interoperability in a hospital environment is a must and free software provides the tools to achieve more. "

Somebody of you in this forum know or can and want give advisory services (we are interested in hiring these services) about of GNU Health in relation a their work with medical images and the topics the wich Luis refer in the interview (PACS connections, DICOM images - view and store- ?

We are interested in addressing the medical images topic, which is very important
know whether somebody give advisory in these topic for agree a meet and talk about it and prices.
