Hi all,

i have cfengine 2.1.6 succsessfully compiled on Solaris 9 (SPARC), but I have strange problem:

when I want to run it (from cron, with command cfexecd --no-fork) it doesn't run at all (cfagent runs well). Using earlier versions of cfengine I used to see messages in /var/adm/messages, but now:
---<output>------------------------------------------------------
May 17 10:35:35 sunrise :sunrise[9536]: [ID 823470 user.error] Couldn't run May 17 10:35:35 sunrise :sunrise[9536]: [ID 801721 user.error] execv: Bad file number May 17 10:35:35 sunrise :sunrise[9537]: [ID 823470 user.error] Couldn't run May 17 10:35:35 sunrise :sunrise[9537]: [ID 801721 user.error] execv: Bad file number
---</output>------------------------------------------------------
[NOTE: I did changed OutputPrefix to ( "${host}" ) string]

Funny thing is that run of cfagent from cron (or command line) goes perfectly well.

command: ldd cfexecd shows:
---<output>------------------------------------------------------
       libdb-4.2.so =>  /opt/TWOEcommon/lib/libdb-4.2.so
       libcrypto.so.0.9.7 =>    /opt/TWOEcommon/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7
       libpthread.so.1 =>       /usr/lib/libpthread.so.1
       libnsl.so.1 =>   /usr/lib/libnsl.so.1
       libsocket.so.1 =>        /usr/lib/libsocket.so.1
       libm.so.1 =>     /usr/lib/libm.so.1
       libelf.so.1 =>   /usr/lib/libelf.so.1
       libsec.so.1 =>   /usr/lib/libsec.so.1

       /usr/platform/SUNW,Ultra-60/lib/libc_psr.so.1
---</output>------------------------------------------------------
where TWOEcommon location contains Berkeley DB 4.2.25 and OpenSSL 0.9.7d packages (also self-compiled)...

Any ideas?

Best regards ;-)
