Not needed as long as you don't use Xaw3d (or Motif or Lesstif).

You should have run "make distclean" before running `configure' after
installing the missing packages.  If you didn't do that, I suggest to
rebuild after "make distclean".

Also, be sure you are running the correct binary, not the one built
before you had X11 installed.
