Has the inclusion of cl.el caused big problems for anybody? For most things, experienced people seem to use a personal prefix. If Emacs Lisp has been adopting cl.el for many years, why not fast forward? Package developers and experienced users seem to use it a lot. It is not just for people who come from CL. -- Myalgic encephalomyelitis denialism is causing death (decades early; Jason et al. 2006) and severe suffering (worse than nearly all other diseases studied; e.g. Schweitzer et al. 1995) and grossly corrupting science. http://www.meactionuk.org.uk/What_Is_ME_What_Is_CFS.htm
