Sorry the only patches I have to offer you sew on jackets and jeans. Some
of us dabbled in BASIC in the 1980s and never progressed.

The good news is that, whether Emacs users are a dying breed or not, the
only remedy to this hypothetical issue is to have more Emacs developers.
