I have thought we could have something in the form of an FAQ list, with
questions often asked here. It could offer references to the manuals we
have, but it would not have the form of a manual, it would just be a
collection of entry points coming from typical tasks a user is
confronted with. That would also make it easy to write and maintain.
And I think, not only would it be good if maintainers (Eli, in
particular) would be completely out, it would even be best if it would
be completely created by normal users, with a bit of review help by the
experts.
