No, and it's a bug. I hope it will be fixed soon (or has already been).

I've now added casts to size_t in all the places listed in the compile 
log you sent me. Would it be possible to check this from CVS, or if I 
send you the source files that have changed (only astr.c, vasprintf.c, 
zile.h and zmalloc.c)?
