I am using for many years the system Debian+Lxde
Lxde the lightweight Desktop manager.
That I prefer that Gnome. Very fast and nervous
Look very similar to Windows and possible configure as you like
Can be used into the old machines, and new one, also for sure
better
Take the same place on Ram that the former Windows 98 with modern
functions
Debian, very serious association entirely free. Base of Ubuntu.
On the stable version. Work too good. Strong
Have no fear of the Indian power-cut.
Many time people ask to me "oh this Windows go speed, witch
version?
I want to have one". But the problem after, how to use?
So I writ a small book, illustrated, especially for this friends
that ask to me
Explain everything at a simple language.
Only 50 page in French. So 25 rigth and left, 52 with the cover.
Very simple book that give to the people after install all
information
To use, get, install and configure.
System Libre, so the book will be also Libre.
I am finishing and fast beginning the English translation
I want also to make a special Indian translation, adapt to the
Indian situation.
I have a litle experience. I will be in India again the next
winter
