The patch description is concerned with line_count, implying the support of  
non-regular staves.

A change in slur scoring for regular staves should not, in my opinion, be  
conflated with the unrelated topic.  If slur scoring in general should be  
changed, this should be done in a separate issue and a separate commit,  
thus making it separately reviewable and looking more like an intentional  
change rather than a side effect.  It also means that if at some point of  
time a problem with slur changes in regressions tests is detected, one has  
a chance of tracing it to a related topic.
