I see what happened. make uninstall did not remove the linphone
binary. The new make install choked on the UI because I am running
RedHat 9.0 with gtk+ 2.2.4 instead of 2.4+.

Any hints on using Linphone on gtk+ 2.2.4 besides just using the command
line as it does not look like moving to 2.4 is a trivial process? Thanks
