Hello David,

An option to silence the displayed cookie alerts when "accept all cookies"
is enabled seems reasonable and simple to me, but would that be enough to
meet the described need? Other status-line alerts appear at times, such as
when loading a page (which may make sense to suppress), or when the host
referenced in a followed link cannot be resolved (which may not make sense
to suppress).

Different users may have different opinions on which alerts should be
suppressed for screen reader users, so do you propose a wide ranging option
to silence as many as possible, or just cookie alerts, or something more
configurable per user?
