Yes, a really nice work! I like it!
A few comments:
* reduce the 5s reload when a rendering is done to 30s or less. We
know that most maps take at least 1 min to render and it will ease
load on our web server;
* Add a comment that one should use the bbox mechanism when an option
cannot be selected;
* It seems to me that the new nominatim mechanism is a bit slower
than the previous one. I haven't done real measurements.
