Do you mean "when a rendering is in progress"? When the rendering is
done, the auto-refresh is not activated.

Good point. I'm adding this to my TODO list.

There's a 150ms timeout between the end of the typing and the query, to
avoid making a query each time a new key is pressed (only when the user
stops typing). Is this the delay you feel?
