Hi all, sorry if this was already discussed, but I'm a bit puzzled by this (pango-patched mld yesterday):
Uptime: 74562 seconds (0 days, 20 hours, 42 minutes)
Total seens: 1024
               eDonkey: 30 (2.93 %)
     official mldonkey: 160 (15.62 %)
     mldonkey pango mf: 17 (1.66 %)
        mldonkey pango: 11 (1.07 %)
               Overnet: 0 (0.00 %)
             old eMule: 0 (0.00 %)
             new eMule: 806 (78.71 %)
                server: 0 (0.00 %)
Total filerequests received: 45569
          From eDonkey: 78 (0.17 %)
From official mldonkey: 39266 (86.17 %)
From mldonkey pango mf: 2293 (5.03 %)
   From mldonkey pango: 55 (0.12 %)
          From Overnet: 0 (0.00 %)
        From old eMule: 0 (0.00 %)
        From new eMule: 3877 (8.51 %)
           From server: 0 (0.00 %)
Total downloads: 623756159
          From eDonkey: 285907969 (45.84 %)
From official mldonkey: 36691304 (5.88 %)
From mldonkey pango mf: 0 (0.00 %)
   From mldonkey pango: 0 (0.00 %)
          From Overnet: 0 (0.00 %)
        From old eMule: 0 (0.00 %)
        From new eMule: 301156886 (48.28 %)
           From server: 0 (0.00 %)
Total uploads: 1467088896
            To eDonkey: 120762868 (8.23 %)
  To official mldonkey: 165273504 (11.27 %)
  To mldonkey pango mf: 0 (0.00 %)
     To mldonkey pango: 0 (0.00 %)
            To Overnet: 0 (0.00 %)
          To old eMule: 0 (0.00 %)
          To new eMule: 1181052524 (80.50 %)
             To server: 0 (0.00 %)

It seems that mldonkey is more "sociable" (90% of all file requests) but emule seems more efficient in 'getting' through.

is this related to my special layout (mld runs on a machine with private ip (172.16.x.x) and is limited by max_connections 125 and max_upload (otherwise the computer will stall after some time with too much hard drive action))?

Cheers
Carsten
