Hi there,

I am having some problems here, since pango removed "upload file fairness" from his patches! :( I am sharing some rare files, but what I am doing most of the time is uploading stuff from popular files I am currently downloading! :(
Upload of the rare files I DO want to share is minimal :(

It should be obvious that I do want to spread the files I share on purpose over files that I a just downloading atm. Isn't thre a way to prefer these files when it comes to upload, can't we give them a higher priority? I mean the donkey shouldn't prevent people from sharing something they want to share, this will just degrade the availability of rare files more and more.

I don't see the point in setting up a 2nd mldonkey with no downloads and just the shared files, this is not a good way.

Any ideas on this?
Some "powershare" trigger or upload priority values for files would be nice so people who queue for prio files get atop of the queue.
Is something like this possible?

Thank you for your time!
