[Mldonkey-users] Connections increase to about 3 time max_opened_connections

Hello mldonkey-users,

  I am currently using MLDonkey 2.02-5 and I noticed something very
  strange. Every 2-4 hours the tcp connections on my machine rise from
  about 350 (my max_opened_connections) to more than 1000. This makes
  working with my connection impossible since the whole line is used
  by mldonkey.
  AFAIK this is behavior is new in 2.02-5 but since I currently have a
  lot of downloads (most of the paused) this problem might have been
  present before.
  Looking at it with netstat it looks like most of these connections
  are in the state of SYN_RECV on the edonkey port.
  Looks like mldonkey is too busy to answer these connection-requsts?
  
  Am I the only one having this kind of problem?

  My settings:
  max_clients_per_second 10
  max_sources_per_file 1000
  max_opened_connections 350
  (other relevant settings are default)
  Any suggestions for optimization?
