[Mldonkey-users] ssh port forwarding to tunnel firewall (part2) |

As i once asked b4, i try to 'tunnel' a firewall for mldonkey
My machine is firewalled, but has a global valid IP (not NAT)
I have an account on a server not firewalled within our network
and try to used it to tunnel donkey connections ...
This ssh2 there is even able to forward udp connections !!
On PC: set force_client_ip true and client_ip to the servers's ip
On the server i did :
ssh -L tcp/5662:127.0.0.1:5662 <address@hidden> -g -f
ssh -L udp/5666:127.0.0.1:5666 <address@hidden> -g -f
which should forward the (listening) ports on the server to my PC at same
ports(tcp and udp)
And now i can 'telnet <server> 5662 from outside and i get a connection if
mldonkey runs on my PC.
But still i just get
ERROR: Your port 5662 is not reachable. You have a LOWID, look ..........
Can anybody help me with that ? Do i have to 'tunnel' outgoing traffic
from my PC too ? All the protocol gurus, please enlighten me :)
Normal low_id connects work fine.
What exactly happens at server connect, whats going wrong at my config ?
