looks exquisite, but the precompiled one starts at a whopping 20 MB on my windows setup... and steadily grows from there at several hundred kB per minute. some plumbing to be done it seems. also it crashes every now and then, even without interaction.
another point: since i'm using a corrected system screen resolution i'm pretty used to weird looking dialogs in new apps. this is of course true here as well, basically you need to compute the size of the preferences window based on the system resolution. anyway, the scrollbars make it usable for now.
