Yes.  It is unfortunate that /etc/nanorc exists and that several distros
uncomment the "include /usr/share/nano/*.nanorc".  It would have been
better if they used a skeleton .nanorc so that each user can trim the
includes without inheriting everything from /etc/nanorc.

I didn't say that you spoke about the designer.  But any remark about
the design reflects back on the designer.

But what irked me is that you asked a question, but didn't wait for
the answer, but made a dismissive remark about the design right away,
without understanding the reasons for it.

It would be good to read the NEWS items for the last twenty releases,
the IMPROVEMENTS file, and to 'git log --grep' for any term that you
are interested in, before proposing or asking or remarking anything.
