Follow-up Comment #24, bug #47480 (project octave):
IMHO all double underscore functions should be avoided as much as possible in
code that is outside of Octave itself.
If it provides a feature that you need, we should discuss how we can meet that
need on the maintainers list.
For example, I don't think you need to use "__have_feature__ JAVA" any longer
with Octave 6, because the javachk function checks that for you already and
reports an appropriate error message. Can we improve that interface somehow
for you?
