Follow-up Comment #9, bug #57388 (project octave):

I don't want the third line through the errorbar legend key.  I find it too
cluttered, so I am happy to keep things as they are.

However, I took some close-ups of the legend keys.  The errorbars for the
y-legend key are of different size.  See (file #48038).

For the x-legend key, it would be nice if the bar could always be centered. 
See (file #48039) which shows that the horizontal line is just below center.
