`LIBS` still contains the SUNDIALS libraries in the build log:

Also the hg id of the tarball (ce6d586e18c4) exists in the remote repository,
and it doesn't end with a plus sign (+). So, likely no local changes.

Are you sure you built from the Octave tarball that was created after you
applied the patch from the other report?
