Follow-up Comment #6, bug #51988 (group octave):

I guess what i meant was comment #1 works now, and if that case covers the
comment #0 problem, then i think this is good. if there's something additional
to test to see if the comment #0 problem persists, I'm not sure what else
should be tested.
