Update of patch #10058 (project octave): Status: None => Need Info _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Thank you for the update. We recently re-activated the release branch in MXE Octave. IIUC, dot-releases of Octave (i.e. Octave 6.3) will be built from that branch. The next major release (i.e. Octave 7) will most likely be built from the default branch. We haven't (yet) established a fixed set of rules for which updates should go to the release branch and which to the default branch. Maybe as a rule of thumb: updates of Octave packages (and packages that enable Octave package updates) should probably go to the release branch. Updates that fix crashes or are otherwise important (like maybe security fixes?) should probably also go to the release branch. Everything else should probably go to the default branch. To estimate which category this update might fit in: Is this update required for an update of your Octave package "biosig4octmat"? Or does it fix crashes? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?10058> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
