        Is there a way to show the year in the date column?
Or a way to tell pan before it fetches new stuff, how new
you want it? Even a way to sub-sort by one and then another
of the columns?

        If perchance you use opera, you may have already
pointed pan at news.opera.no -- and if you do and you
haven't, you pretty surely want to. But that server *keeps*
posts : tell pan to fetch new, and it may well get quite
literally tens of thousands -- several years' worth, and you
can confirm if you sort by date and then run slowly down the
list.

        That could be a good thing -- I might well want some
early stuff : *some*. But it would be nice to have better
control than I have yet found. (I've only even had linux a
few weeks, and pan still less, though I've wanted linux for
years -- long story.)

        Any ideas?
