That's why it should be an option. The default could remain off, and a GUI
settings slot for it wouldn't even be necessary, but at least put it in the
config file, with the opportunity to change the "Splash Screen" setting from
an "=0" to an "=1" there. Of course, a GUI setting for it would be nice too,
but it's not absolutely necessary.
BTW, I prefer most splash screens off, myself, but would find it useful here,
tho I'd prefer it was turn-off-able as well.
