Is the message already cached?  When I hit n it takes me to the next
message and downloads it.   Are you talking about the first time you enter
a group only?

Now that you mention this I found it to be a problem as well, in the
meantime I just enable expand all threads when entering a group and use
the hotkey to go to next unread message.

Unfortunately this was removed in the new rewrite but I think Charles has
it's return scheduled for post 1.0

Definitely but I think Charles is taking a short break, I noticed that he
is active working on another app I use Transmission so that may have taken
a lot of his attention.
