[Slackware.it] problemi con la rete

salve a tutti ho un problema con l'installazione della rete su slack12
con

dmesg | grep eth0
ottengo
AMDtek Comet rev 17 at MMIO 0xdd000000, 00:04:5A:6E:85:f4, irq 11

con modprobe eth0
ottengo
FATAL:Module eth0 not found.

e con ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.6 up
ottengo
eth0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device

come posso risolvere la situazione.

vorrei poi andare in internet attraverso gateway 192.168.1.1,
che con winxp (192.168.1.6) funziona.
Qualcuno puo' aiutarmi?
